Wiltrud Kessler

Ich bin Dozentin für Informatik am MINT-Kolleg der Universität Stuttgart und Softwareentwicklerin und Data Scientist bei der Firma 5Analytics.

I am currently working as a teacher for computer science at MINT-Kolleg at the University of Stuttgart and as a software developer and data scientist for the company 5Analytics.

Ich habe Informatik an der Universität Stuttgart und der Universidad Politécnica de Madrid studiert. Nach meinem Abschluss habe ich zuerst am Lehrstuhl Wirtschaftsinformatik 2 der Universität Hohenheim im Bereich Semantic Web gearbeitet. Dann habe ich angefangen am Institut für Maschinelle Sprachverarbeitung der Universität Stuttgart zu promovieren. Meine Promotion war im Bereich Sentimentanalyse und wurde durch die Nuance Foundation gefördert und von Prof. Jonas Kuhn betreut. 2016 habe ich meine Promotion abgeschlossen.

I studied computer science at Universität Stuttgart and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. After graduating, I worked on the topic of Semantic Web at the Chair of Information Systems 2 at the University of Hohenheim. Then I started my Ph.D. at the Institute for Natural Language Processing at the University of Stuttgart. My research was in the area of Sentiment Analysis. It was funded by the Nuance Foundation and supervised by prof. Jonas Kuhn. I finished my Ph.D. in 2016.
